Shahid Afridi to participate in Sri Lankan Premier League

Earlier today i was surfing Pakistan related websites and came across something which could potentially rival the IPL in quality and entertainment, if not money.

PakPassion.Net the premier Pakistan cricket related website announced that Sri Lankan Cricket Board is due to launch their very own version of the IPL in July this year and some of the very best names in T20 cricket have already signed up and reached an agreement to take full part in the T20 League.

The website confirmed through its sources that Pakistan’s LOI Captain Shahid Afridi has already signed up for the tournament, and fellow Pakistan players such as Abdul Razzaq, Umar Akmal and Shoaib Malik have already reached agreements to participate.
All i would like to say is that, IPL, you better watch out..!!!

The other international players, who have shown interest include, South Africans Graeme Smith and Jacques Kallis, along with hard hitting West Indian all-rounder’s Chris Gayle and Dwayne Bravo.
